Hailing from a rural Finnish town, the now LA-based composer, Bettina started playing classical piano with the Suzuki method at the age of 5. She soon found she was more drawn to composing and performing her own pieces rather than classical ones made by others.
She quickly found her footing, landed her first gold record along with a few placements, and co-established a studio complex for Finnish producers & songwriters in Los Angeles, which was supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
Her music stems from growing up in the middle of nature, with extreme weather conditions. Influenced by pop and classical background. She’s also majorly intrigued by the visual arts, which is why composing for picture feels very natural for her. For her, music and visuals belong together.
