Hoarse & Roaring

by Parlor Hawk

Founded in 2009 by award-winning designer Andrew Clifford Capener, Parlor Hawk found quick (and much deserved) success soon after their release of Hoarse & Roaring.

Produced by Joshua James (Joshua James, Isaac Russell), mixed by Todd Burke (Ben Harper, Jack Johnson) and mastered by Reuben Cohen (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Bruno Mars), the album was featured on iTunes Indie Spotlight as a "Best of 2010 Singer/Songwriter Album". They also won an award for Best Acoustic Song (for "Saddest Song") in the 2012 Independent Music Awards.

After their sophomore album - produced by GRAMMY nominated composer Nate Pyfer (Kaskade, The Moth & The Flame) - Capener decided to re-focus his energy on designing, leaving us with some tunes that will not easily be forgotten.
