Swedish pop quintet Join The Riot was brought together because of their shared love for pop and rock. The music has been described by bloggers through out the world as infectious, melodic indie with a dreamy vibe attached to it. The sound created from elements inspired by bands such as Coldplay, Phoenix, St Lucia, M83 etc will get you moving and singing along.

Emerging from different corners of Stockholm the mixed souls of Henrik, Jonas, André and Simon met at the city’s popular music school RML and started the band in 2013. Join The Riot became a thing on the Swedish indie scene right from the start when the first singles Ménage à Trois, Queen Marmalade and Louis were picked up on national radio and met by words of encouragement from different blogs though out the world. In 2014 the band landed “Wow”, a track from their first EP “Buckle Up”, on the Scandinavian Volkswagen commercial. Patrik joined in 2015 when the band went on their first international tour to China. That same year the band engaged in a somewhat unorthodox recording project, which took place in a public display window attached to hotel Scandic Malmen on the busiest street corner of Stockholm. After one month of hard work recording their debut album “A Glass Cage Of Emotions” was finished in July and released to the world in December 2015.

With big dreams and innovative projects in the making, an upcoming tour to China in December 2016 as well as a lot of new music in production, Join The Riot is just getting started and looking forward to what the future holds.
